Picks orders accurately and to a set production standard, as assigned by supervisor

Properly log, process, and stock inbound merchandise shipments

Palletizes and labels overstock so that it may be handled properly

Checks shipments for accuracy and reports the results to the supervisor

Process and audit company returns.

Label product to fit customer needs.

Pack products to be shipped.

Ship orders to designated customer locations.

Inspect product to ensure adherence to customer specifications.

Minimum High School diploma, some college preferred.

Receive new merchandise into the system in a timely and accurate manner

Store new merchandise according to warehouse standards

Provide excellent customer service to all departments throughout the enterprise

Ability to consistently lift packages of 50 pounds or more and work on your feet most of the time

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad role definition

Highly organized and proficient in following process across multiple steps and stakeholders

Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.

Ability to type and perform data entry into Sagent's ERP and WMS system.

Preferred ability to operate warehouse equipment including the ability to drive and maintain forklifts (stand up / sit down) experience.

This position is not able to work remotely.

Accurate and timely pick, pack, ship execution for material and sales order requests.

Engagement with transportation and supply companies for overall execution.

Manage inventory based on FIFO (first in-first out) guidelines when applicable.

Good verbal, math and writing skills

3-5 years experience in a Food Distribution Center

Experienced in operating electric pallet jacks and forklifts within OSHA guidelines

Load and unload City Harvest fleet of trucks as directed

Receive, move, store and load merchandise with use of a hi/lo or other material lift machinery as directed

Must have experience in receiving goods using RF gun

Basic math skills, written and verbal communication skills

Must have Stand-Up/High-Reach Forklift experience and pallet jack experience

Experience working in a warehouse setting requiring employee to always be aware of surroundings

1+ years of work experience within the warehouse or Distribution Center environment

Experience in Distribution Center or manufacturing operations preferred

Put away / rotate received product into overstock storage locations

Complete order level documentation as it relates to customer requirements.

High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED) and 2+ years of related industrial experience and/other training

Basic math skills for measuring, counting and weighing

Proficient on a PC skills
