Detailed Job Description Service Materials Handler I is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials and supplies in a warehouse or distribution center. This position requires the ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The Service Materials Handler I must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position is also responsible for the accurate and timely loading and unloading of materials and supplies, as well as the accurate and timely completion of paperwork associated with the movement of materials and supplies.
