Overview Senior Urban Planners are responsible for developing and implementing plans for urban areas, such as cities, towns, and villages. They work with local governments, businesses, and other stakeholders to create plans that are both economically and environmentally sustainable. They also help to ensure that the plans are in line with local, state, and federal regulations. Detailed Job Description Senior Urban Planners are responsible for developing and implementing plans for urban areas. This includes researching and analyzing data related to population growth, economic development, land use, transportation, and other factors. They also work with local governments, businesses, and other stakeholders to create plans that are both economically and environmentally sustainable. They must ensure that the plans are in line with local, state, and federal regulations. Senior Urban Planners also provide technical advice and assistance to local governments and other stakeholders. They may also be responsible for preparing reports, presentations, and other documents related to their work. Job Skills Required
