Senior Transportation Analyst Jobs

Principles and practices of program management, analysis, and coordination.

2. Training and Experience Exam

Participates and assists in the design, implementation, and installation of new and revised programs, systems, procedures, methods of operation, and forms.

Responds to complaints and requests for information; interprets and applies policies and procedures; adjudicates complaints.

Excellent leadership and project management skills

5+ years of experience with progressive responsibilities in a logistics/transportation environment

Knowledge of accounting and finance principles, including, but not limited to audit and budgeting

Partner with the centralized call center to maintain and improve customer satisfaction as it relates to the delivery experience

Assist with/manage inbound freight schedule to the FC to reduce costs and operational constraints/bottlenecks

Establish relationship with network strategy teams and advise/work to optimize geographical offering as it relates to location

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

Manages inbound transportation amendments for supplier contracts.

Trains others in the solutions designed to manage the processes necessary to support the delivery of product/goods to AB distribution centers.

Works with carriers and Transportation Managers as needed to improve various aspects of performance.

Interacts with carriers and Transportation Managers to improve service reporting ability.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (an advanced degree is a plus)

Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and related technologies

5+ years of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, apply statistical analysis techniques, and derive insights to support decision making
