Senior Supplier Development Engineer Jobs in Florida

Lead the efforts to develop maintain and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities  

Perform analyses of program requirements and prepare responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules and resource allocations to assure optimum quality support

Review and approve engineering/test and contractor documentation and provide input to assure that appropriate quality requirements are addressed

Lead and execute customer quality program requirements

Completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience

Develop and maintain a supplier management system, including supplier quality manuals, procedures, scorecards, and improvement activities.

Help develop, document, and maintain Quality Assurance Supplier Requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering to define parameters/critical/tolerances to align the supplier's capability with product requirements.

Preferred CQE and/or CQA certification is a plus.

Minimum of 6 years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably with high-volume

Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of processes for supplier qualification & certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution.

Act as an internal consultant for root cause analysis & problem-solving (Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures.

Bachelor’s Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business

5 years plus of strategic experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or Supply Chain Sourcing

5 years plus experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing in Supplier facing activities
