Senior Staff Laser Engineer Jobs in California

Prepare PPAP documentation as required for product development, qualification, and product change management.

Working knowledge of ISO 26262 compliant safety management system and FMEDA

Working experience on execution of qualification per AEC Q100 requirements

Interface with contract manufacturers on compliance management of discrepant materials.

Comprehend and advocate customer quality expectations and fit-for-use requirements as applied to company’s products and business processes.

Support customers with automotive safety compliance requirements per ISO 26262.

In depth knowledge and experience in applying concepts of optics, laser physics, and electro-magnetism.

Experience with advanced concepts in laser physics, classical optics, and nonlinear optics is strongly preferred.

Experienced developing software for data acquisition and hardware control using LabView, Visual Basic, Delphi, Python or equivalents.

Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with fiber lasers, product development, or medical device design is a plus.
