They also investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions. Detailed Job Description A Senior Safety Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training. They must ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that personnel and property are protected. They must also investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions. They must be able to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them. They must also be able to develop and implement safety programs, such as emergency response plans.
