Dr. Kirk Wangensteen’s research program is seeking a Research Fellow.

Perform ongoing experiments requiring cellular biochemical techniques

Data acquisition, discussion, and presentation

Participate in Joint Research with other team members

Oversight of laboratory technicians and general lab maintenance and organization tasks.

Desired Experience - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Exceptional project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience conducting literature reviews and conducting research of varying types.

Experience with critical research methodologies, either quantitative or qualitative, is preferred.

Experience with bibliographic databases, such as EndNote, use of Excel to generate graphs, and other standard computer software.

Work experience in relevant practitioner settings, e.g., districts, schools, afterschool, intermediary organizations, or arts organizations, is a plus.

Oversee and manage clinical research projects and studies from initiation to completion

Manage and oversee data collection and analysis

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines

Prepares and maintains all IRB and regulatory paperwork to comply with institutional regulatory requirements

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience required

At least 3 years of experience in clinical research, including experience with clinical trials, required
