7+ years' relevant work experience

3+ years' experience hiring and managing data science teams

Experience guiding the development of data science and analytical concepts to solve business problems from both a technical and business perspective

Experience seeing projects through from exploration to deployment

Experience collaborating with IT professionals to develop data science support environments from an engineering, tooling and deployment perspective

General knowledge of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms

Build and lead a Data Science practice leveraging generative and non-generative AI models that improve customer experience and retention initiatives

Manage stakeholders during AI solution design, project execution, and deployment into full production

Ability to understand data management using excellent computer skills to create spreadsheets and databases

Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience with GIS/Data visualization, data quality

Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills using SPSS or R and NVivo or Dedoose (for example)

Minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience in a climate-related role. Both consulting and in-house corporate experience are accepted.

Significant experience developing complex corporate carbon footprints covering Scope 1 & 2 and all Scope 3 categories.

Experience of developing intellectual and commercial assets within the company, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Well-organized, with the ability to manage complex project deliveries, on time and within budget across multiple simultaneous client engagements.

Effective writing skills, with an ability to write concise, compelling, and well-structured documents and reports.

Managing client relationships with Fortune 500 companies at the highest level of seniority.

Cryospheric science and field work experience; remote sensing validation using in situ measurements

MSc. in a technical field involving Earth observation and 4 years of relevant experience

Remotely sensed geospatial data (satellite, airborne)

Deep experience instead of proficiency in any or all of the above tools

Geospatial tools: GDAL, geopandas, rasterio, xarray

GIS: ArcGIS Pro or similar

Experience with project management and budgeting.
