Senior Peer Support Specialist Jobs in Massachusetts

Experience in leading activities with youth.

Organized, creative, flexible, and reliable.

Assist with all program activities as needed

Assist students in enrichment activities such as games, structured sports, crafts, etc.

Assist site coordinator with a snack, transition times, dismissal, and other duties assigned.

Participate in staff meetings at the request of the Site Coordinator or Program Supervisor.

Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred.

High School Diploma required. Peer Specialist Certification required within 6 months from date of hire.

Assists clients identify, understand, and combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and develop strategies to reduce self stigma.

Increases awareness of and support client participation in consumer self-help programs and consumer advocacy organizations that promote recovery.

Serves as the liaison between the team and consumer-run programs such as self-help groups and drop-in centers.

Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle required.
