High School Diploma and or GED plus 5 years of export operations and compliance experience is required.

Dangerous goods or other export regulatory certification is preferred.

Intermediate experience using Windows operating system and Microsoft software applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required

Communicate effectively with carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling and delivery processes.

Ensure current buying/selling rates are set up for all export shipments handled by the Branch before making necessary bookings.

In some locations, the Sr. Export Agent may be required to complete assigned warehouse and inventory tasks.

knowledge of domestics and international geography including major ports/ramps

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Daily monitoring port, terminal, schedules changes and updates

Assists with booking confirmations, updates and documentation process

Coordinate with internal operation teams on distribution of bookings

Daily tracking and operational troubleshooting issues

3+ years of experience in air or ocean import operations

Strong knowledge of air and ocean import regulations and procedures

Experience with CargoWise is preferred
