2+ years of experience as a lineman and have the knowledge to detect power space violations and safety issues
Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
Provides support for Lineman crews during all phases of construction activity.
Must be able to climb pole to cable height using pole climber gaffs.
Current valid driver’s license (preferably a CDL) with a clean driving record is required.
Work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required.

This includes installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground power lines, transformers, and other related equipment. They must be able to climb poles and towers, and must be able to work in a variety of conditions, including extreme weather. Senior Linemen must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, and must be knowledgeable about safety regulations. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and must be able to make repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
