Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.

Implemented or operated a quality program with an internationally recognized Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and/or ISO 13485 standards)

Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing preferred.

Evaluates Quality Assurance staff performance accurately and fairly. Communicates and discusses performance on a regular basis. Prepares performance appraisals.

Identifies key development needs for staff and works to mentor staff and provide appropriate training and assignments in core competency areas.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related field

Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance or Software Engineering Methodologies.

Reviewing and interpreting business requirements and design specifications and translating them into test procedures.

Good communication skills (interpersonal, listening, written and oral), be self-motivated, organized, thorough, and efficient.

Experience in data testing using SSIS and SSRS, ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes.

Experience with data testing between MS SQL DB’s, Oracle & Mainframe Data.

Over 10 years' experience in Quality in a Pharma manufacturing environment

Ideally with experience in finished product manufacturing

Leads the QA & QC departments with a staff of 20 and 2 direct reports

Responsible for directing and providing leadership for the implementation of global standards and procedures

Bachelor's degree in a Science related subject

Experience providing leadership and direction related to the administration and usage of test management software.

Expert knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies acquired through a combination of prior work experience and formal training.

5+ years’ experience leading large & remote teams

Manage weekly, monthly, annual end-to-end QA activities

Manage vendor relationships with the Quality Assurance department.

Maintain knowledge of core applications as required to provide direction on testing strategy.
