Senior Construction Inspector Jobs in New York

Minimum 4-6 years retail construction management experience in high end/luxury retail

Review and incorporate Landlord requirements and lease agreements

Prepare preliminary construction schedule based on project and lease requirements

Prepare preliminary construction budgets based on project and lease requirements

Manage coordination with Purchasing team and proprietary vendors/contractors

Manage change order process in coordination with Director of Construction

Develop the Directors and Project Management team, concentrating on improved, focused, solutions oriented communication, between business partners, vendors, and contractors

Provides options and alternatives to construction methods and Owner _I_ Tenant responsibilities to improve overall time to market.

Develops and instills strong, independent leadership teams that assumes ownership and responsibility for each of their areas, personnel, and issue

Develop and communicate plans and expectations for the team

Drive operational efficiencies and excellence across the organization

Lead a team of 10 (2 direct reports and 8 indirect reports)

Demonstrated abilities that illustrate initiative, communications, problem-solving, adaptability, planning and organization management.

Project Management Professional certification preferred.

Review site budget administration of all cumulative Construction Management activities and resolve claims by contractors.

Extensive technical / professional knowledge in an area of specialty acquired through progressive experience

Minimum of 7 years in construction management.

Manage field changes with Change Order and engineering procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
