Senior Web Application Penetration Tester Jobs

Co-ordinate with program management, security architects at Internal & offshore sites.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Produce reports and conduct management briefings on test activities, scenarios, results and recommendations.

Assess the current state of the customer’s system security by identifying all vulnerabilities and security measures.

Help the customer perform analysis and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.

Organize and lead efforts to document and design improvement strategies for discovered vulnerabilities and monitoring gaps.

Understand common web application vulnerabilities like SQLi, XSS, CSRF, and HTTP Flooding.

Development experience with Python, Powershell, C, or C++

3+ years of performing manual penetration testing

Strong understanding of software security issues (OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, MITRE ATT&CK)

Expert knowledge in computer security, whether it be in forensics, systems studies, penetration testing, tool development, or other related effort.

Expert working knowledge of and history with Scanning/Analysis Tools (nmap, nikto, etc.)

Strong communication skills for documenting and relaying findings to customers

Completion or work towards GXPN, OSCP, OSCE3, TCM PNPT or similar technical certifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited institute in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

Expert in the use of Linux (preferably Kali, Parrot, or similar) and Windows operating systems, command lines, and penetration testing tools.

Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent education or work experience.

Probe for vulnerabilities in web applications

Perform IT security research to remain current on emerging technology trends and develop exploits for disclosed and undisclosed vulnerabilities

5+ years of IT experience to include 3+ years of experience in either information security, development, or system/network administration.

Programming experience with focus on development, security, or process automation

Working knowledge of TCP/IP ports and protocols

Assist with the development and delivery of client training and presentations on penetration testing and vulnerability management

Knowledge of the functionality and capabilities of computer network defense technologies, including Router ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus/EDR, and web content filtering

Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in corporate infrastructure

Stay up to date with the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and offensive techniques

Experience with Penetration Testing of operating systems, web applications, and network infrastructure

Administrator-level knowledge of Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, while still paying attention to detail

Ability to elicit and understand customer requirements and covert those requirements into a technical services solution

Answer developer, designer, and content contributor questions about IT Security requirements.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in penetration testing

Desired certifications – Security+, CEH, GPEN, OSCP, AWS, or equivalent

Exceptional communication skills - both orally and written

The Vulnerability Testing Team is part of Vulnerability Management within the Client global Security Team.

Significant findings will be shared with C-level management and will help influence the strategic direction of the Security department.

Knowledge, Experience & Technical Know How:

3 - 5 years experience in a Penetration Testing position

Reporting on website performance and user experience

Designing, creating and executing manual tests from business requirements

A chance to upskill by learning the latest Automation and performance tools.

Testing websites for usability and reporting bugs or usability issues to developers

Testing different browsers and operating systems to ensure compatibility

Identify data for the execution of test cases, generating statics and reporting on test results to identify potential risks
