Overview A Security Platform Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security of a company’s computer systems and networks. They are responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats, as well as developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Detailed Job Description A Security Platform Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats. This includes monitoring network traffic, identifying malicious activity, and responding to security incidents. They are also responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures, as well as conducting security audits and reviews. Additionally, they may be responsible for researching and evaluating new security technologies, and providing technical support to other departments. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of security protocols, encryption technologies, and network security
• Ability to analyze and interpret security logs
• Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards
• Ability to identify and respond to security threats
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• At least 3 years of experience in a security-related role
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of security protocols, encryption technologies, and network security
• Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and COBIT
Job Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a security-related role
• Experience with security incident response and investigation
• Experience with security auditing and reviews
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity
• Identify and respond to security threats
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Conduct security audits and reviews
• Research and evaluate new security technologies
