Reports fire and safety hazards to the facilities manager and administration; responds to alarms.

Attends assigned special events and fulfills professional obligations and responsibilities, as directed by the administration or designee.

Demonstrates preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.

Implements professional practice and responsibilities, demonstrating cultural competence.

Intervenes in situations likely to result in disruption or injury and directs students to refrain from such conduct.

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in security

Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

Proprietary systems knowledge, Cisco systems, or equivalent.

Ensure the bank is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.

Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons.

Report safety concern, security breaches and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.

Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors and premises.

Monitors closed circuit television systems and alarms.

Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client employees and guests.
