Basic estimation and math skills

Match deliveries against purchase orders; put away deliveries quickly; ensure that stock is shelved promptly

Keep area organized and clean – review and modify receiving area organization as needed weekly

Perform inventory counts as requested

Maintain secure area – locks doors

Determine product positioning and ensures that priority items are displayed to their advantage

Receiving product - check and verify BOL, check in through warehouse management system (WMS) system

Ensuring damaged product is placed in its proper area and reported to management

May manage the return of products and be asked to assist pickers as needed

If you have a forklift certification, it's a definite bonus (but not required)

Likewise, completion of a high school diploma/GED or comparable work experience is preferable, but also not required

Staging product or position in warehouse

No work experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Prefer 6 months’ work experience in a warehouse or production environment.

Pay: Up to $17.75 per hour

Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems

Perform ticketing, stocking, picking, packing, counting, loading, and unloading, housekeeping and safety functions

Collaborate with leaders/team members through constructive feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions

Works under direct supervision and follows standard operating procedures to accomplish assigned tasks

Ability to work in multiple departments as assigned while meeting performance metrics

Associates may be required to move up to 50 lbs. (range may vary based on work assignment)

Communicates with the management team regarding any issues (e.g. products, out of stocks, safety issues, food safety concerns).

Reports all equipment issues to a member of the management team.

6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent work experience in place of a degree.

Forklift and pallet jack license/certification preferred.

Knowledge of: safe lifting procedures, and food safety guidelines.

Skill in: building pallets of products quickly, accurately and safely.

Pull inventory from storage before cutting.

Wrap and package customer orders to protect them in shipment.

Assist in the receiving and storage of materials.

All other duties as assigned Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Minimum one year receiving/warehouse experience or one year restaurant/culinary experience

Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack and obtain property company sponsored certification

Receives, inspects, weighs and counts incoming goods against purchase order and specifications. Verifies against order for correctness and condition.

Ensures strict adherence to product specifications when receiving goods

Uses proper storage techniques to include proper rotation, dating and slotting of product
