Scrap Yard Worker Jobs in Florida

Specific Industry related experience preferred

Experience with general or routine maintenance tasks

•High School Diploma or equivalent required•Knowledge on safe operation of a forklift, manlift, and front-end loader

To offload material to the plant, silos, or bulker trucks from railcars

Assist machine operators in and around yard with loading, unloading, sorting, and maintaining all work areas

Operation of rubber tire loader and fork-lift

Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting to 75 pounds frequently.

Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork

Self Service Essential Job Duties:

Receives labels from supervisor for parts to be pulled.

Pulls, retrieves parts from vehicles in yard.

Inspects part and notify supervisor of any damage
