Demonstrated experience in use and oversight of industry-standard publication management system(s)

Responsible for budget oversight and tracking as well as manage all financial and contractual aspects of assigned projects

Strong working knowledge of current good publication practices, guidelines, and ethics.

Demonstrated experience in having a leadership role in designing scientific communications strategy and programs in alignment with corporate strategies

Experience in working closely with KOLs and authors

Prior experience in scientific communications (publications, or medical communications)

Strategic mindset and demonstrated experience working cross-functionally

Become a subject matter expert for Schizophrenia

Lead cross-functional scientific communication meetings, providing strategic guidance/recommendations to ensure cross-functional alignment

Work closely with the Medical Director to ensure strategic communication and alignment to the Medical Strategy/communication objectives

Liaise with the medical field teams to better understand the evolving needs and communications gaps

Overall client satisfaction and high quality of all assigned scientific content/editorial projects and initiatives

Product/therapy area information and insight pertinent to the assigned client/account

Contributing to/reviewing project specifications (e.g., timelines, lead time, resource availability, etc)

Helping to make writer assignments and allocations within the client account team

Establishing and/or enforcing high-quality content standards and review procedures within the client account team

Establishing/maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with content authors, client product/TA experts, and other external (and internal) scientific/clinical experts

History of collaborative vendor management with an ability to drive budget and timelines effectively

5+ years experience at a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company or publications/medical communications vendor (titling in line with experience)

Strong scientific knowledge and attention to detail, with a desire to deliver high quality

Prior launch experience and/or experience in rare diseases, especially cell/gene therapy, is highly desirable
