Coordinates and supervises the work of revisers and translators/précis-writers and advises and assists them in the performance of their responsibilities.

Drafts and revises summary records, while exceeding required workload standards and meeting deadlines.

Makes effective use of relevant language technologies and tools and assists the Chief in promoting their utilization.

Directs the identification of new terminology material and plays a leading role in the setting of terminology standards.

Assigns individual tasks and supports the Chief with programming long-term work, if required.

Distributes assignments to ensure efficient and effective processing of documentation and an equitable distribution of work. Updates electronic tracking system accordingly.

Registers incoming/outgoing documents in order to control flow of work in and out of unit.

Maintains daily statistics. Performs administrative work, as needed.

Performs daily maintenance of the unit network drives.

Trains and guides junior support staff.

Completes e-Performance evaluations for junior staff members as First or Additional Reporting Officer.

Experience with editing, QC, summarizing/gisting; terminology management; triage; workflow; or teaching/instruction.

5yrs experience preferred and BA/BS in foreign language educational sciences; international affairs.
