Route Developer Jobs

The target base salary is $75-100k, but the client is flexible, depending on experience.

· Responsible for route optimization, and providing support for new projects and daily operations

· Using Sof-Pak, will provide collection sites with residential and commercial route optimization

· Provides maps, reports, and support to operational staff

· Develops post-implementation standards evaluating route efficiencies and fleet maintenance impacts

· Performs field studies to analyze route metrics

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Work in assigned area to solicit new distribution of products sold within the Direct Store Distribution system.

Place P.O.S. materials and display racks in territory.

Work with Sales Representative to review sales objectives, new products, and promotional programs.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred

Merchandising, stocking, and proper ongoing rotation of products on store shelves and displays, ensuring best quality and freshness of products

Drives sales through the acquisition of new display space, incremental displays and through using sales data to establish other store-level plans

Follows up on new account opportunities and builds effective customer relationships while ensuring promotions are executed

Introduces new products and services and shelf space within existing accounts and when soliciting new customers

Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail management experience is strongly preferred

Retail management or merchandising experience

Able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis

Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements

Manage relationships with all outside contractors and staffing agencies

2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, and/or logistics services.

Demonstrate problem solving, analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills

Effective written and oral communication skills
