Risk Insurance Analyst Jobs

Emphasis on core Insurance operations (claims / policy management / underwriting) and performance / process improvement, leveraging deep analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of target management, client representatives and colleagues

Assist clients to develop and deploy target operating model plans including strategy development, business functions analyses, change management, and program execution

Deliver on private equity focused initiatives (interim management, strategic planning, capital management, business transformation, performance improvement)

Proactively manage client’s expectations, anticipate project risks, obstacles, and develop contingency plans

Manage and develop client relationships for long term opportunities.

Prior experience with insurance policy management.

Experience working in risk management and/or insurance. (3 – 8 years / potentially as a Risk Manager or Insurance Manager).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance or related field.

Participation in University committees, providing risk management advice and support to academic and administrative departments.

Management of the University’s fleet vehicle statistics and automobile insurance.

Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation is helpful but not required.

Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five - or more (5+) years of directly related experience in risk management.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Legal, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.

Five or more (5+) years of managerial experience.

Directs and manages the enterprise risk management program and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Promotes org-wide understanding about risks and risk management strategies.

Assist the Risk Management Department as needed.

Review insurance requirements with assistance of insurance broker to ensure compliance and identify potential deficiencies.

Request owner contract and other certificates of insurance as needed per requirements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of various insurance coverage types, insurance terms, general exclusions, and limits of insurance.

Insurance agent or broker experience.

Coordinator - Risk Management & Insurance

Will assist on various projects as needed and assigned by Department Manager

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of administration/ops and customer service experience

Experience in P&C insurance, especially Personal Lines coverage is highly desired

HS Diploma or GED required: additional education/training preferred

Setting up of activities needed from incoming mail within Agency Management system

Assist in management and organization procedures by working on various projects as needed.

Work as a team player within many different teams and management

Effective organizational skills – keeps files and work area organized.

Must also have basic desktop computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word

Must be enthusiastic, with a positive and professional demeanor and solid communication skills.
