Full or Part Time: Full Time

Arizona Department of Education Speech Language Certification

Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars (e.g. training, IEPs, team meetings, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information.

Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Performs site visits at multiple work sites including home visits for the purpose of providing therapy and assistance as required.

Responds to inquiries (e.g. parents, teachers, staff, students, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or referral as appropriate.

Transports supplies and equipment to a variety of sites for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items as needed.

Preferred Minimum of one year of experience and/or training as an SLPA.

REPORTS TO: Special Education Director

Must have an high school diploma or equivalent

Must have a minimum of an AA/AS degree as an SLPA or BA/BS degree in Communication Sciences/Disorders or Speech Language Pathology

Must be able to obtain or have Arizona Department of Health Services License as an SLPA.

Must be able to obtain or have current AZ IVP Fingerprint Card.

Access to continuing education courses at no cost

Valid state license and or Department of Education credentials

2 years clinical experience providing therapy and evaluation services

Strong communication and relationship building skills

This is a remote position

Administer school-based evaluations and IEP-directed therapy services
