Daily communications with Rental Manager/Coordinator/customers.

Assist with rental equipment maintenance (oil changes, valve adjustments, engine inspections and repairs as needed).

Rental generator and associated equipment delivery and pickups.

Excellent mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge and problem solving skills

Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience preferred

Thorough knowledge of all equipment & operations that apply to the branch

3+ years’ experience in forklift repair or related industry

Coordinates installation orders with Project Managers.

Assign work and monitor progress to keep production work flowing smoothly.

Provide guidance and instructions to other sign makers.

Set up and utilizes sign maker computer to produce custom signs and graphics.

Marks, positions and applies letters to sign face.

Gathers, lifts and carries inventory items such as reflective sheeting, aluminum blacks, plywood, tools and finished signs (etc.) when needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Be in direct contact with District Manager to ensure jobs are completed with the highest degree of service quality

Provide feedback to Shop Manager on tool performance

Ensure all reporting requirements are done in a timely manner

Promote and develop a culture of superior service quality to support customer needs and relations

Fully compliant with ISO and API QHSE standards and work methods

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Good reading, comprehension, technical aptitude, analytical skills, and basic computer knowledge

Experience using mechanic tools, basic hand tools, pipe installation tools and equipment maintenance knowledge

Strong communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively

Demonstrated problem solving and process analysis skills

Good judgement skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Communicate the progress of repairs with the Service Manager as well as customers

Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment

Full time position-40 hour work week

$ 23.00 to $ 30.00 / hour

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00pm to 03:00pm )

Plumbing, refrigeration, and/electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Repairing water systems, coffee brewer and ice machines. This requires use of basic hand tools and power tools.

Being willing to spend most of your day working in the shop and occasionally at customer locations.

Ability to lift 50 lbs

A strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own most of the time

Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills

6 months to 1 year of experience working with A/V equipment a plus

Clean equipment after check in when returned; inspect new equipment upon delivery

Organize and store all tested equipment

Ensure all equipment is in top cosmetic shape

Identifies equipment that requires further inspection or repair, and moves that equipment to a Technician II or Technician III

Degree or Certification in Diesel Technology, preferred.

Minimum of 1 year previous related work experience, 3 + years preferred.

Experience in trouble-shooting and repairing diesel-powered heavy equipment.

Capable of basic computer skills.

Experience with CAT diagnostic equipment, CAT repair tooling, rigging and blocking equipment is preferred.
