Remote Cardiac Monitor Technician Jobs in Michigan

Demonstrates knowledge of central station and bedside monitors. Ensures alarms are maintained at appropriate levels and settings. (20%)

BLS Certification may be required dependent upon facility.

Accurately analyzes, interprets and records ECG rhythms according to procedure. (30%)

Cleans and maintains the telemetry monitors/holders and accounts for monitor upon patient discharge. (10%)

Performs other unit specific duties such as video monitoring, order entry and answering phones. (10%)

Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Monitor technician experience or successful completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training program or equivalent. (Required)

Performs properly and legibly documents in accordance with department policy. Documents in telemetry logbook.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.20 / hour

This position works under the supervision of the Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Observes screen of cardiac monitor and listens for alarm to identify abnormal variation in heart rhythm.

Informs RN of change in rhythm and documents notification.

Enters patient data into central database and logs all patients.

Documents monitor patterns every six hours on all monitored patients.
