Overview Relief Jailers are responsible for providing temporary relief to full-time Jailers in correctional facilities. They are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors, as well as maintaining order and discipline in the facility. They must be able to respond quickly and appropriately to any emergency situation that may arise. Relief Jailers must be able to communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and visitors. They must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all policies and procedures. Job Skills Required
