Registration Access Specialit Jobs

Six (6) months experience in a hospital/physician setting, obtaining insurance benefits and pre-certification is preferred

Prior collection experience is preferred. Billing experience and contract knowledge is preferred.

One year of experience in a similar occupation and basic medical terminology and ICD 9 coding experience is preferred.

Communicates with self pay patients about charges and assists patient with payment arrangements

Collects appropriate forms as required by Medicare, Medicaid insurance companies and or other agencies

High school graduation or equivalent is required.
