The Registered Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility policies and procedures. The RMA is responsible for ensuring that medications are administered safely and accurately, and that all documentation is completed in accordance with state and federal regulations. The RMA is also responsible for monitoring patients for adverse reactions to medications, and for reporting any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
