Recording Mixers are also responsible for ensuring that the recordings are of the highest quality possible. Detailed Job Description A Recording Mixer is responsible for setting up and operating the audio equipment used in a recording session. This includes setting up microphones, mixing consoles, and other audio equipment. They are also responsible for setting levels and adjusting the sound of the recordings to ensure the best possible sound quality.
