Assisting the receiving department manager in accurately receiving all incoming products including date, accuracy and damage checking.
Communicating with department managers regarding delivery issues and vendor out-of-stocks.
Working with the department managers to address performance issues within the department.
Supporting store opening and closing activities including Daily Sales Report (DSR) and cash handling and cashier closeout responsibilities.
This position has limited Manager on Duty but is never intended to be the overall Manager on Duty for the store.

Overview A Receiving Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers. They are responsible for ensuring that all goods are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements. Detailed Job Description The Receiving Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers. They are responsible for ensuring that all goods are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements. The Receiving Driver must be able to read and understand delivery instructions, and must be able to follow directions accurately. They must be able to load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, and must be able to safely transport goods to the customer’s location. The Receiving Driver must be able to communicate effectively with customers and other personnel, and must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Job Skills Required

• Ability to load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
Job Experience
• Previous experience as a delivery driver
• Previous experience in customer service
