Real Prop Appraiser Technician Jobs in Ohio

High School graduate or equivalent work experience

Strong written and oral communications skills

Strong problem-solving skills including identifying the root cause of the issue and providing viable solutions.

Strong organizational skills including skills with attention to detail, planning and prioritization of workload.

Prior experience working independently and collaboratively with a team successfully.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills to calculate square footage, ratios, and similar functions

Knowledge of current construction costs and materials, current property values, and future real estate and property issues

Knowledge of the geographic and socioeconomic layout of the County

Knowledge of the organization and functions of County government, particularly the functions and procedures of the Tax Department

Knowledge of the application of information technology to property appraisal and records maintenance

Uses accepted methods, procedures, and schedules to estimate market values of land and improvements

Work involves, but is not limited to review of building permits, interpretation of plats, maps and surveys
