Real Estate Asset Mangement Associate Jobs

Prepare real assets and macroeconomic research to present to senior management.

Manage and produce reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis for existing portfolio of investments to monitor portfolio performance.

Strong academic background including Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, real estate, or other related field.

Experience and professional manner in interacting directly in-person with senior members of the investment community.

Experience with database software, such as Power BI, is beneficial.

Excellent organizational, business writing and verbal communication skills.

Minimum 5 years of experience in CRE loans asset management experience including management of performing and distressed CRE loans assets

Prepare loan and portfolio level status reports on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis for Senior Management

Candidate will be responsible for Asset Management of our Direct Commercial Real Estate Loans.

Manage commercial real estate loans

In-depth knowledge of loan documents and creditor rights for senior, mezzanine and A/B note capital structures

Formulate and recommend strategies to maximize value through knowledge of loan and real estate markets and value-add strategies

7+ years prior institutional level office & industrial real estate asset management experience

Oversee direct property management and leasing services for each asset

Reviews monthly, quarterly and annual reports produced by the Contract Manager to ensure they follow DWS requirements

Successful record of accomplishment in the execution of asset management strategies to achieve successful results while effectively managing risk

Manage total capital improvements as a percentage of NOI at the respective properties

Manage relationships with contract manager and joint venture partners and provide oversight

• Investment Materials – Support for financial and investor reporting, presentations to senior management and investors

• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills as well as written and verbal communication skills

• An understanding of real estate sectors and fundamentals

• High level of initiative and strong work ethic

• Marketing/Client Group – support marketing related initiatives and requests to support platform growth
