A Reactive Ion Etch (RIE) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of RIE systems. They must have a deep understanding of the physics and chemistry of etching processes, and be able to design and develop etching systems that meet customer requirements.

What is Reactive Ion Etch Engineer Skills Required?

-Strong knowledge of etching processes and physics -Proficiency in CAD software -Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field -Experience with RIE systems -Experience with vacuum systems -Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
