Overview Rangers are responsible for protecting and managing natural resources, wildlife, and public lands. They are also responsible for providing educational and recreational opportunities to the public. Rangers may work in a variety of settings, including national parks, state parks, forests, and other public lands. Detailed Job Description Rangers are responsible for protecting and managing natural resources, wildlife, and public lands.
