Railcar Coordinator Jobs

Any other duties or responsibilities as deemed necessary by material coordinator

Good oral and written communication skills

Previous P.C. and data experience

Take samples from railcars, puts in lab for testing

Coordinates with rail crew for spotting of railcars

Must be able to accomplish all tasks with minimal supervision

Some electrical experience preferred .

Knowledge of power and hydraulic tools.

Welding and oxygen/acetylene torching experience.

Locomotive repairs including mechanical, air and electrical.

Performs preventative maintenance on assigned company locomotives and equipment.

Freight car repair if necessary.

Proficient with the American Association of Railroads (AAR) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) industry and customer requirements.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

Coordinates and communicates daily workload to ensure the production line moves efficiently and safely.

Completes in-process work to ensure Greenbrier’s quality process, hold points, and rework goals are achieved.

Completes and assists team members in completing repairs on railcars, within defined efficiency and quality standards.

Provides training to team members as needed.
