Job Title : Sr. Quality Control Inspector

Duration : Long Term Contract

Perform at-the-machine First Article Inspections for all multiple quantity precision fabricated parts

Determine and perform appropriate tests needed to verify fabrication has been performed as specified

Identify ongoing quality issues and make suggestions for improvement

Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment

Excellent time-management skills and organizational agility, including the ability to effectively balance multiple ongoing projects, tasks and priorities.

Microsoft Office, including Excel/Word/Outlook/Visio (intermediate or advanced skills only); PowerPoint (Basic skills), Oracle and Infor knowledge.

Address special projects as necessary and adapt to the changing requirements of the business.

Technical (Computers & Internet) savvy is required. Desired skill-sets include MS Office Application with moderate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills.

1-2+ years of auditing/quality monitoring experience related to Operations environments in contact center settings, preferably in a quality process/documentation role.

Strong analytical skills that can be used to identify patterns, outliers and opportunities.

High School or equivalent training and/or least 6 months related experience preferred

Assist employees with daily operational concerns, demonstrate “Best Practices” for employees; interface with Quality Control Supervisor

Perform time studies, when applicable

Identify Sort, Encoding and Quality issues and communicate to the Lead

Perform quality check after encoding is complete

Perform quality check after sorting in frame is complete

Manage structured QA audits and subsequent remediation

Registered nurse with minimum of 3 years of clinical experience

Work closely with Clinical Training to identify and remediate RNs/APPs QA within weeks 4 through 12 of new hire orientation

Perform quality tests for grading on the assigned product lines

Inspect packaging integrity, labels and label accuracy, cap codes, and carton codes as appropriate for line assignment

Conduct weigh checks as determined by specifications, assure correctness and within specifications

2+ years of quality experience in a production environment

Minimum Years of Work Experience: 3-5 years’ inspection/QA experience.

Management of the Food Safety Program within the factory including achieving compliance to Mars Global Quality and Food Safety HACCP standard.

Experience in a food manufacturing environment or food retail business working in a quality, food safety or process/product development.

Experience in complaints process, examination and resolutions

Compiles and analyzes data on reoccurring product defects to determine root cause. Analyzes raw material inspection logs for consistent failures.

Notifies purchasing and quality departments about suppliers that have provided inferior products.

Studies work processes, measurements and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.

Monitors and scrutinizes internal and external complaints and compiles data to be used in reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent education and related software testing training and experience in the financial services industry.

Possesses knowledge and experience in testing in distributed and web-based environments.

Knowledge and experience on infrastructure changes is a big plus.

Facilitates testing related development activities, guiding testers, and clarifying requirements with the appropriate team members.

Strong analytical ability to review Business Requirements and assist with developing test conditions.

Tracks key testing metrics and ensures regular and consistent communication of progress towards overall testing goals to the Testing manager.
