Punch Press Set Up Operators are responsible for setting up and operating punch presses to produce parts from metal or plastic. They must also be able to adjust the machine to ensure that the parts produced meet the required specifications. They must be able to select the correct tools and dies for the job, and adjust the machine to the correct settings. They must be able to inspect the parts produced to ensure that they meet the required specifications. They must also be able to troubleshoot and repair any problems that may arise with the punch press.
