Job Description of Public Space Attendant A Public Space Attendant is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the public in a variety of public spaces. This includes parks, beaches, public buildings, and other public areas. The attendant is responsible for monitoring the area for any suspicious activity, enforcing rules and regulations, and providing assistance to visitors. Job Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of safety and security protocols

• Ability to identify and respond to potential threats

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license

• CPR/First Aid certification

• Security or law enforcement experience preferred

Job Knowledge

• Knowledge of local laws and regulations

• Knowledge of public safety and security protocols

• Knowledge of emergency response procedures

• Knowledge of customer service principles

Job Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service or security role

• Previous experience in a public space setting
