Knowledge developing and maintaining efficient records management systems.
Assist the Alaska Department of Corrections with the management and supervision of probationers and parolees residing in the community.
Promote and be involved in educational activities as related to public safety, inclusive of training for the community.
Obtain and maintain VPSO and Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) certifications.
Other duties as assigned by the VPSO Program Manager.
Present monthly and quarterly written and/or oral reports to the village council and the VPSO Program Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, Experience, Skills)
May not have been denied village public safety officer certification, nor is that certification in revoked status; and
Work effectively in a cross-cultural situations.
Maintain confidentiality in regard to clients and program matters.
Abide by the APIA Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual as established by the Board of Directors.
Comply with Alaska State Troopers VPSO SAR Manual.
