Overview Public Relations Assistants are responsible for helping to create and maintain positive relationships between an organization and the public. They may work with the media, coordinate events, and create promotional materials. They may also be responsible for responding to inquiries from the public and managing the organization's social media presence. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in public relations or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in social media platforms
• Ability to work flexible hours
Job Knowledge
Public Relations Assistants must have a thorough knowledge of public relations principles and practices, media relations, social media, event planning and coordination, promotional materials and marketing, budgeting and financial management, and customer service principles.
Job Experience
Public Relations Assistants should have at least two years of experience in public relations or a related field.
