Public Relations Internship Jobs

Previous roles in Journalism, Public Relations, Media Relations or similar experience in writing/reporting and project management

Responding to media inquiries and assisting with media relationship management

Proven research skills and an understanding of how the news media works

Strong partnering and relationship skills to excel within a team environment

Previous experience as a Disney Cast Member

Maintaining media contact and project databases

Community management across all relevant digital platforms (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and time-management

Learning and understanding the agency business model, structure, and offerings

Day-to-day responsibilities and learning opportunities will include:

Paid Internship: $22.50/hr, $25.00/hr for those who have earned a bachelor's or master's degree

Internship begins September 11, 2023 and will go through December 21, 2023

Manage, track, and update the day-to-day client tasks within your respective teams

Current enrollment in a Communications, Marketing or related educational field

Self-motivation, good organizational skills, detail-orientation, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong writing abilities with the ability to write clear, public-facing materials, including blogs to tweets to research memos, quickly

Excellent computer skills including Google Suite products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

End of semester project application to real work experience

A people person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships, with proven experience in supportive team management

We are seeking remote interns outside of the Tri State and Los Angeles areas.

Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills

Remote; candidate is expected to work East Coast hours

Must be available 2-3 days a week, from 10-5:15 pm EST (candidate must be available to work East Coast hours)

This is a paid internship.

Work with Office Manager and Senior team to determine intern needs and to-dos

We are seeking in-person interns for the New York area.

Must be available 2-3 days a week, from 10:00am - 5:15pm EST.

Must be available starting August through December.
