Overview A Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a psychiatrist to provide mental health care services. They are responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Detailed Job Description A Psychiatric Physician Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care services to patients. This includes conducting initial assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy. They may also provide medication management, crisis intervention, and patient education. Additionally, they may provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• State licensure
