Psychiatric Aide 1 Or 2 Jobs in Iowa

Work experience in the field of developmental disabilities preferred.

Education in human services, education or closely related field preferred. HS diploma/GED required

Able to effectively manage multiple tasks.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Able to achieve certification in CPR and First Aid, and medication administration, and Safety Care.

Able to exercise sound judgment in an emergency situation.

Six months of experience or training in patient care.

Graduation from an accredited registered or practical nursing program will substitute for all of the required experience.

Possession of a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certificate will substitute for all of the required experience.

Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician Program will substitute for all of the required experience.

Failure to list complete license information (if applicable to the job position).

Failure to submit an equivalency evaluation statement for an international degree by the closing of this announcement.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.

In addition to the special entry rate of pay/hour, this position receives

starts at an additional $1.00/hour

Shift Differential is also earned, depending upon the time of shift worked
