Propane Bobtail Driver Jobs

Complete all “pre-trip” requirements before each truck run and “post-trip” requirements at the end of each shift

Competitive pay $25-$27/hr starting wage depending on experience

Sign on bonus for experienced drivers

1 year of multi axle driving experience

1-2 years of tanker/propane driving experience

Basic mechanical and plumbing skills.

SERVICE WORK - Service and tank installation duties. Set tanks and install exterior distribution lines.

PROPANE DELIVERIES - Assist with propane deliveries as needed.

MISC PLANT DUTIES may include assisting with facility maintenance.

CDL-B license with Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrakes Endorsements preferred. Ability to obtain/train for CDL possible for the right candidate.

Availability for after hour calls on a rotating basis with co-workers.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Crosstrain in the service area to ensure timely response to general customer needs in propane and/or water where offered.

Handle the delivery schedule with multiple stops per day as directed.

Resolve or escalate customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.

Demonstrate responsibility regarding the care, condition, safe handling and securing of all company and customer equipment and property at all times.

Ensure all required paperwork is in order, complete, accurate and legible and submit to supervisor at end of each business day.

Class A or B CDL experience with X Endorsement (Hazmat, Tanker, Airbrakes)

DOT Drug Screen & DOT Physical

Must be 21 or older
