Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), or

Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and capacity to meet the company's needs.

Crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality equipment required for operations.

Research and identify potential suppliers of fabricated/engineering equipment.

Establish a network of reliable vendors capable of providing required equipment within specified timelines.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company.

Assist in identifying and exploring new material opportunities to recommend to Clayco management as new business opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering required

Assist in selling CDC programs on new Clayco projects and to new Clayco Project Managers

2 to 6 Years of experience

Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required

Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Monitor project schedules regarding submittals, approvals, and shop fabrication releases. Identify and communicate possible delays or problems to project management team

Provide technical instructions and guidance to steel detailers in preparing shop drawings per project requirements and standards

Serve as a direct link between Project Managers, Estimators, and the Detailers

Knowledge of contract drawings and trade specific drawings

3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer

Manage or a ttend vendor bid presentations or coordination for vendor equipment trials

Coordinate any changes of purchased versus planned equipment items with project manager, architect and engineer for medical, electrical and plumbing issues

Control or assist the Project Manager in reporting client budgets and flagging issues to the internal project team

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in the healthcare environment with a focus on Procurement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, organize and analyze data with strong attention to detail
