Production Associate Weekend Shift Jobs

Cut product blocks into manageable loaves for the slicer units.

Training pay starts at $17.60/Hour with a potential to reach $19.10/Hour after meeting all skill levels.

Removes product from shipping boxes and product tubes.

Changes wires on the cutters quickly and efficiently.

Must be able to lift up to 100 Lbs.

Strictly adheres and enforces the company GMP policy, food safety and quality policies, and sanitation procedure.

Mechanical knowledge is a great benefit

Electric pallet jack experience preferred, but not mandatory

Experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not required

Monitor production equipment for 7lb and 20 bags

Maintain a clean and organized work space

Safely operate an electric pallet jack to move pallets of ice from the bagging room to the freezer.

Performs Quality functions in classified areas, including production oversight, manufacturing process assessments, and aseptic intervention oversight.

Initiates and authors Nonconformance Reports and corrective and preventative action responses.

Conducts bi-annual inspections of classified areas in preparation for facility shutdown periods.

Initiates standard operating procedure (SOP) revisions as needed to support continuous improvement.

Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience

Picks items accurately and in a timely manner.

Packs and secures items using the provided packing materials.

Locates and pulls items stored on multileveled racks in the warehouse, based on a RF device direction.

Utilizes High Jump computer system to ensure accuracy of all orders.

Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken; update receivers and customers on status of loads

Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers

1 year of logistics experience

General knowledge of the transportation industry

Experience writing routine reports and correspondence

Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system

Experience with Labor Management standards preferred

Support the Labor Management program, by training / enforcing standards in each department

Familiar with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) required

2+ years' experience in distribution center environment

Year dedicated experience with Training

Proven experience using metrics to drive behavior change and results

Communicate with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met

Knowledge of shipping software (Oracle Transportation Management)

Enter data into the transportation management system, and maintain and generate required reports; properly process, audit and file various documentation

Assist in developing, planning and modifying daily schedules, and notifying customer service and the operations manager about the status of shipments

Six months of previous experience working with the developmentally disabled and/or individuals with severe behavior problems is preferred.

Applicants with knowledge of applied behavioral analysis is preferred.

Must be able to organize and manage time and manage multiple tasks.
