Product Safety Coordinator Jobs in Florida

Strong computer skills are mandatory, significant experience and abilities with Microsoft Office Suite are necessary

Assists the Regional Safety Director and Corporate Safety Director as requested with the corporate safety management system.

Submits incident reports complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, customer, and corporate requirements, maintains safety files and records

2 to 4 years work experience in a heavy labor environment necessary

Construction Industry experience is a plus

Strong analytical skills with the ability to write reports

Assists Project Management in developing site specific safety plans

Conducts safety audits to insure compliance with OSHA, Federal and State requirements

Wide-spread knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, MOT, and Environmental standards and regulations.

Development and implementation of current safety training programs as required

Conducts site specific new employee safety orientations

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Proficiency in using safety management software or tools is preferred.

Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop site-specific safety plans and ensure their effective implementation.

In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry best practices.

Proven experience in developing and implementing effective safety programs.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and train employees at all levels.

Bachelors Degree in a related field; or comparable work experience in lieu of degree

Prior Retail/Merchandising/Product experience in footwear or fashion preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver

Education/ Certification/ Years of Experience Requirements:

Upload, update, and manage safety recommendations in the enterprise resource management system;

Certifications in OSHA30, CHST, or CSP (preferred)

Experience with conducting unannounced/announced field audits and facility inspections (preferred)

Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written (preferred)

Educational and Professional assistance programs; Paid Memberships in Professional Associations

Must understand case management and be computer savvy (Microsoft word and excel).

Any of the following certifications (Is a plus): OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, ASP, and/or CSP

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification

Eligible to work in the US, pass a background check with criminal history and pass a drug test

Physical stamina to stand or travel regularly
