Product Ux Intern Jobs

Partner with product management & users to design the right product from the get-go.

3+ years of UX design with strong knowledge of mobile and web-based software & applications.

Collobrate with internal team to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing, or usability testing.

Experience planning and executing research.

Be involved in sketching, prototyping, and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team.

Get insights on building new product/business lines by talking to a varied set of users.

Proactively research different user cohorts both from a quantitative and qualitative research perspective.

Put users at the center of a design to make it simple, easy to use, and good looking.

Participate in-person or remote user research via surveys, interviews, focus groups, usability tests to help inform design decisions.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers, to ensure seamless integration of design elements.

Support the planning and execution of usability research to optimize user experience and interface design.

Working knowledge of design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Contribute to the enhancement and refinement of the organization's design system and processes.

Knowledgeable in user research methodology, qualitative and quantitative.

Excellent communication skills, cross-group, and cross-culture collaboration.

Experience conducting stakeholder interviews in healthcare or public health settings.

Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Experience translating user needs and developing empathy for the user through a deep understanding of user-centered design methods and applications.

Knowledge of elderly and childcare platforms

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Audit / assess several OverDrive marketing sites.

High-level analysis of search engine optimization via analytics/Google search console.

Report keyword and optimization recommendations based on best practices – meta data, open graph, Google keyword planner.

Analyze heatmaps, testing results and user journeys for websites, making design recommendations (wireframes) based on findings.

Create detailed report on all findings for each project.

Connects users’ knowledge and experience with interactive products. Demonstrates knowledge of one user for primary product.

Experience writing for educational audiences a plus.

Builds healthy relationships with team to allow knowledge sharing, learning, and facilitating equitable conflict resolution.

Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, whether in one-on-one or group situations.

String written and verbal communication skills.
