Procurement Counsel Jobs

Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems (DocuSign CLM preferred).

Excellent negotiation and drafting skills. Strong business judgment. International contracting experience a plus.

Excellent organization and planning skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment to prioritize competing demands and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Review and draft a variety of procurement agreements customary to a fast-growing global cloud communications company.

Participate in negotiations with vendors in collaboration with contract negotiators and the procurement business organization.

Develop, update and evangelize rules and policies relating to the procurement contract review and approval processes.

Partner with procurement and business leaders to negotiate agreements to maximize benefits and minimize risks

Healthcare, SaaS, and professional services experiences are positives

Proven excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills

Ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships by utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills

Provide counsel and legal support to internal business clients for vendor and supplier facing engagements

Advise stakeholders and internal business teams regarding associated risks, applicable vendor onboarding and purchases

Knowledge and working experience with Service Now

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.

Effectively manage existing contracts and contract renewal processes, including managing the renewal of license and support agreements.

Develop and manage vendor relationships compatible with organizational mission and goals.

Perform industry research and utilize industry knowledge to develop successful negotiation strategies and structure for business relationships.

4+ years of commercial contract negotiation experience and/or procurement experience

Familiarity and expertise with IT and IP-related legal documentation.

Ability to work with people from regions around the world.
